Work Description (Include Candidates Way)
Responsibilities • Source fasteners and related industrial components such as pipe fittings, CNC parts, stamping hardware, injection molding parts etc. Analyze quotes and make purchase recommendation. • Develop new vendors and commodities by conducting industry research, quality survey, vendor audit and participating in trade shows. • Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies and comparative analysis. • Review customer requirements (per print, PPAP, specification) to ensure manufacture has process capability and good understanding to be successful. • Assist suppliers during on-boarding processes and maintain an effective communication channel. • Identify cost saving opportunities and optimize vendor base. • See through new product development by collaborating with vendors & international cross-functional team. • Update and maintain sourcing data, report daily activities to Sourcing Manager. Qualifications/Skills • Min. college degree. • Capable of reading advanced technical prints and standards. • Good understanding of various types of manufacturing process and keen to learn more. • Good communication skills • Familiar with PPAP and ISO/IATF quality system. • Chinese/English proficiency required. • Fastener experience preferred. • Show initiative, team spirit, and have good reporting habits. • Project presentation.
